Sundays, 9:30am Training Seminars

“Train yourself to be godly.” 1 Timothy 4:7

Godliness requires training. Discipleship involves learning.

Training Seminars at Centennial Church are elective classes (4-6 weeks in length) designed to lay a strong foundation in three primary areas: Biblical knowledge, theology, and practical Christian skills. Classes meet during the 9:30am service in our adult classroom. Our next seminar begins March 18.

Our primary environment for ongoing training and adult fellowship are InGroups which meet regularly throughout the year.

Sundays, 11am, InGroup

InGroups are the primary environments for growing closer and getting trained at Centennial Church. We want our Body to grow in both Christian friendship and Biblical wisdom. We want to know one another and know God through His Word.

Our 11am InGroup is hosted by Dale & Dianne Pulsifer. Other InGroups meet Sunday and Wednesday evenings.

All adults are welcome and encouraged.

InGroups

What are InGroups? InGroups are the primary environments for growing closer and getting trained at Centennial Church. We want our Body to grow in both Christian friendship and Biblical wisdom. We want to know one another and know God through His Word.

What is the format? Groups differ based on the group members and leadership but generally there is 25-30 min of conversation, sharing, prayer and 40-50 min of interactive teaching.

Where and when do InGroups meet? At the church throughout the week (Sundays 11am, 6pm; Wednesdays 6pm).

Is Childcare provided? Yes, we arrange for babysitters. We ask each family to contribute weekly to help cover the cost.

What do the InGroups study? Studies vary from books of the Bible, to theological issues (Christ, salvation), to Christian skills (parenting, marriage, finances). Curriculum and teachers are approved through our pastors.

Do the Groups do activities too? Yes, informally and planned! Our hope is that you will find a few great friends to share life together. Organized socials happen too. InGroups are also encouraged to mobilize for “GO Team” service projects within the church and within our community. InGroups should grow together – through study and prayer, play, and service!
