The center of Christianity is not a power, an ideology, or a moral code, but a person. Nonbelievers need their hearts and eyes opened to Jesus. Believers need their faith refreshed and their hearts continually warmed by “looking to Jesus” (Hebrews 12:2).
The Gospel of John features some of the most personal and intimate interactions of Jesus. From skeptics to religious leaders, outcasts, the forgotten, the ordinary and despised, even the already dead (Lazarus) - Jesus meets each one. In this series, we look on and encounter - anew or for the very first time - Jesus, the Word made flesh. “Come and see!” (John 1:39).
