“Would you like to add that to your cart?” In our consumer-driven culture, goods and services are plenty, options abound, and choice is king. And though that may be nice for car buying or Tex-Mex food, in the Christian faith it spells disaster. There is one God and only one way to Him. In his brief letter to the Colossians, the apostle Paul reminds believers of the supremacy and sufficiency of Jesus and lovingly warns them against adding anything extra. The central figure of the letter, and the center of the Christian faith is Jesus - nothing else, nothing more, nothing less. King Jesus reigns over all.
