Light of the World

All was not calm, merry, nor bright at the coming of Jesus. In many ways, darkness reigned. God’s people were oppressed and confused, and yet hopeful and longing for deliverance. Jesus’ arrival was like a light in the darkness – bringing comfort, giving hope, showing the way. In the darkness of our days, He remains our light and the light of the world.
